Kahuna Massage

A holistic form of bodywork from traditional Hawaiin healing practices, with a focus on harmonizing the body mind and spirit through rhythmic movements, deep tissue techniques and energy flow.   Forearms, elbows and hands are used to create fluid and continuous strokes to promote relaxation and release tension with the aim of releasing physical and emotional imbalances to enhance overall well-being.

Kahuna bodywork considers the connection of body and spirit, providing a rejuvenating experience that goes beyond the physical, fostering a sense of tranquility and inner balance.

During the massage strong emotions may arise allowing the release of energy in the body,

and I will be using techniques to move these energies  back to the earth to be healed and transformed.

Different to a regular remedial massage the flowing style of Kahuna allows you to drop into a deep meditative state so that you may receive its full benefits.

To begin we will check in with you and your intentions and tailor the session to your needs as well as what comes up for you throughout the session,.

The massage is approximately 1 hour with the entire session 1.5- 2 hours.

                  What oil is used?

A combination of coconut, almond and hemp oils as well as Blue Lily oil for the face and hair.

                   Will I be naked?

Generally the massage is received without clothing , a modesty towel is expertly draped across the lower half of the body as well as the option across the chest.

Experiencing the massage without clothing is encouraged however if you don't feel ready we can cater to your needs.

Can I receive a Kahuna when pregnant?

YES! I am trained in pregnancy massage and my table has a trap door to comfortably         hold your pregnant belly whilst lying face down.

                 How to prepare?

To ensure the most comfortable experience  I ask that you come showered without                  deodorant or perfume and cleanly shaven (if applicable). a shower is available should          you need it.

It is recommended to avoid eating a few hours prior to the session.

It was so relaxing and comforting and I completely let go with my mind, body and soul feeling nourished and cared for. I would highly recommend Justine as your go to person for all things nurturing. Justine is so grounded and an expert in so many fields!"
